This fanatic medal was issued by the Ministry of Industry to commemorate the National Industrial Exhibition held in Montevideo in October 1928. The image on the obverse is very modernist with smioking chimneys and factory buildings in relief. The lefthand side has symbols of water and a symbol similar to a caduceus. The words "Exposicion de Industrias Nacionale" are stemped into the bottom of the medal. It is signed "S Pose". The reverse is stamped "Ministerio de Industrias Comision Nacional de la Industria y del Comercio Montevideo Octubre de 1928". The rim is not stamped.
